Also known as a Mortician, a Funeral Director is service professional who helps a surviving family and the Bereaved facilitate end-of-life plans for the deceased.

- Helping to purchase necessary Funeral products and services
- Transporting the body, planning a Funeral or Memorial Service
- Managing and leading Final Disposition services such as Burial or Cremation
- Coordinating an Obituary publication and notifying governmental institutions of the death
