Estate Administrator
The person is in charge of settling the Estate of a deceased person by paying its Debt and distributing its remaining Assets to Beneficiaries.
Typically, a Last Will & Testament identifies the person legally allowed to settle the Estate.
However, if no Will exists, then state Probate Court will appoint someone to this position.
When no Will exists after a death, this person is known as the Administrator.
Also known as Executor of Estate or Personal Representative.
