An application to be submitted during Probate to review a Last Will & Testament in order to validate its legitimacy.

Approval of the Petition gives permission to the Executor of the Will to Execute the Will and begin settling an Estate.

Typically, the Executor, family member, or attorney, files the application along with the Death Certificate to a local Probate Court where the deceased lived at the time of death.
