A ceremony to commemorate a deceased person that typically includes a Final Disposition of the body, either as a burial or cremation.
Historically guided by religious and cultural traditions, today Funerals typically take place at a Funeral Home, religious institution, or Cemetery.
However, they can place anywhere the deceased or Bereaved wish, so long as it complies with state law.
