Typically, food and beverages are provided for guests during Funeral or Memorial Services and post-event gatherings.

This can be as involved as a full meal or buffet, or as light as finger food and snacks, or just coffee and water.

Depending upon the wishes of the deceased, and financial situation of the surviving family, or those who are organizing the event, decide what is most appropriate.

If a larger meal is needed, contact local restaurants or caterers, especially those which were favorites of the deceased.

Also, feel free to ask the community to lend support in any way they feel comfortable; this could be by helping to organize a caterer, or even provide food themselves in the form of a potluck.
