A guestbook that the community signs not only identifies who has attended the Funeral or Memorial Service but allows guests to write things they may not have had the chance to say to the deceased or surviving family.

Typically, these books are kept near the entrance of the service so guests can easily write when convenient.

Funeral Homes may sell these as part of their services, but it is not required that they be purchased from them.
