Choose Burial Method

If the deceased did not left instructions for burial type, there are a few to choose from.

They include, but are not limited to:

  • Single Plot -- used for one person and is most common

  • Companion Plots -- two plots next to each other, purchased simultaneously

  • Family Plots -- a dedicated area to be used by a single family

  • Plots for cremation -- specific plots for cremated remains which may be buried in a Cemetery next to caskets

  • Crypt / Vault -- a structure used as monument to house one or more graves

  • Mausoleum -- an above ground housing structure to house Caskets

  • Green Burial -- a low-cost option that helps preserve natural areas and resources, the body is buried in a biodegradable Casket in a specialized Cemetery

  • Home Burial -- burial on personal property; state laws will dictate the legal ability to do so
