Secure Valuables
If the death recently occurred, secure the deceased's valuables which may be in the immediate vicinity or stored nearby.
These include but are not limited to:
Keep track of where you store valuables using a spreadsheet or other closely guarded document.
These include but are not limited to:
- Jewelry
- Money / credit cards
- Property and vehicle(s)
- Home / vehicle keys
- Cellphone / computers
- Personal documents (social security card, birth certificate, Last Will & Testament, etc)
- Storage units
