Contact additional family and close friends to inform them of the death.

Feel comfortable asking for help; this is a challenging time and trusted loved ones will be happy to participate as needed.

Let them know that more information about a Funeral or Memorial Service will be available at a later time.

Items they may help these conversations include but are not limited to:

• Share information with a close friend group and ask that they share with the larger community


• Manage communications with community by having answers to frequently asked questions


• Organize a "care calendar" for the community to help support the surviving family and Bereaved


• Provide everyday support such as dog walking, babysitting, errands, cooking, cleaning, laundry, gardening, etc
