To prevent fraud, cancel the deceased's driver's licenses (automobile, motorcycle, etc).

To do this, contact the DMV register the death with the DMV of the state in which the deceased's license was held.

Typically, a copy of the Death Certificate will need to be provided, but each state's process is different.
